Andrew Do, who abruptly resigned as Supervisor Janet Nguyen’s chief of staff four years ago, has quietly returned part time to her county staff while she seeks election to the state Senate, according to county records, according to the Voice of OC.
Do, who is an attorney, sold his share of the Lee’s Sandwiches in Stanton in January of this year, however the record of that sale has mysteriously disappeared from the Orange County Health Care Agency’s website. That restaurant made headlines a few years ago when Supervisor Nguyen was the key vote against restaurant health letter grade ratings. At the time she failed to divulge that Do, her Chief of Staff at the time, and her husband, Tom Bonikowski, co-owned the restaurant, which had racked up plenty of health violations. Continue reading
