Senator Moorlach Blasts Sidhu Mailers in 68th Assembly District
Senator John Moorlach has issued a statement saying that Harry Sidhu’s “campaign has issued a mailer that is unconscionable, misleading and inappropriate. This campaign methodology is unacceptable. Innuendo and false implication is unseemly, and this Republican is repulsed by it.”
The Sidhu mailer laughably blamed Mayor Steven Choi for an illegal immigration invasion in the city of Irvine, which according to FBI statistics is the safest big city in the nation. Continue reading

Mayor Steven Choi Outraises All Opponents in 68th Assembly District Race
Orange County, CA – Mayor Steven Choi continues to outpace all other candidates in the race for the 68th Assembly District with his combination of strong fundraising and efficient spending.
Mayor Choi is the local choice of Orange County voters. Choi has more endorsements from Orange County mayors and city councilmembers than all other candidates in the 68th Assembly District combined. With Irvine’s large electorate and tiny $440 campaign contribution limit, Choi has built a large grassroots donor base to raise $125,000 for mayor within the city’s low limits. With the far higher campaign contribution limit for Assembly, Mayor Choi’s grassroots donor base along with his local endorsements makes Choi the local frontrunner for the 68th Assembly District. Why Mayor Pulido was booted from the South Coast AQMD’s Board today
Santa Ana Mayor Miguel Pulido used to be friendly with former Anaheim Mayor Curt Pringle back in the day. The two of them often teamed up with former Irvine Mayor Larry Agran - and were referred to as the Tres Caballeros. Well Agran was booted off the Irvine City Council when the Republicans took over in Irvine and Pringle went on to become a lobbyist. And now Pringle has, as a lobbyist, turned on Pulido.
Pulido served on the Board of Governors of the South Coast Air Quality Management District for over a decade. That gig is over now as Pringle and several prominent Republican leaders led a movement to dump Pulido and replace him with a Republican - Lake Forest Councilman Dwight Robinson. Continue reading
