In 2010 when Raul Rodriguez signed his contract to serve as the RSCCD chancellor, he was provided a “relocation allowance” of $2500 per month. (Section 8, page 2 of the contract). The taxpayers of our community have paid this amount to the Chancellor for the past seven years totaling close to a quarter of a million dollars!
When will the relocation expense end? It certainly doesn’t take seven years! How much does it cost to relocate? Why should the District continue to pay the Chancellor a relocation allowance while the colleges are cutting programs and employees are losing their jobs? Continue reading
