Dr. Ari Grayson of Laguna Beach just kicked off his run for California’s 37th Senate District and he has already secured a major endorsement. This week the California Labor Federation announced it’s endorsement of Dr. Grayson’s candidacy.

International Longshore and Warehouse Union Locals Endorse Loretta Sanchez for U.S Senate

February 5, 2016 – Support from organized labor groups continues to grow for Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez’s bid to replace Senator Barbara Boxer in the United States Senate, with the International Longshore and Warehouse Union (ILWU) Locals 13 and 94 both announcing their endorsements of Congresswoman Sanchez’s U.S. Senate campaign.

California State Association of Letter Carriers Endorse Loretta Sanchez for U.S. Senate

For almost two decades, Loretta has fought for better pay and working conditions, say Letter Carriers

January 24, 2016 – Today, the California Association of Letter Carriers announced their support and endorsement of Loretta Sanchez in her bid to replace retiring U.S Senator Barbara Boxer, citing Loretta’s support and advocacy of their issues during her two decades of service in the United States House of Representatives.

“Loretta grew up in a union household, one which cares not only about their own family, but for the community they lived in,” said California State Association of Letter Carriers president John Beaumont. “Loretta has proven herself to be a strong Democrat throughout her nearly 20 years in Congress, pushing policies focused on keeping our country strong, protecting individual rights, creating jobs, and protecting trade. The OC Supervisors to consider an agreement with their employees’ labor union

Vote Planned on Tentative Agreement with Largest Labor Union

Orange County Supervisors have scheduled a special meeting for Friday, December 18, at 8:30 a.m. to allow for public comment on details of a proposed tentative agreement with the membership of the Orange County Employees Association for a new contract that would extend to June 30, 2018.

The proposed tentative agreement is posted for public review on the County webpage. If ratified by OCEA, the County’s largest employee union, the agreement would be presented for approval and adoption at a second special Board meeting on Wednesday, December 23, 2015. Continue reading→
