KARINA ONOFRE BEATS INCUMBENT BY ALMOST 4,000 VOTES IN THE PRIMARY FOR STATE ASSEMBLY 74TH DISTRICT
A miracle is happening in California’s 74th Assembly District – the Red beating heart of the Republican Party is becoming Blue! In its history, we have never had a woman nor a Democrat win the majority of votes in any election. But a huge shift is happening and Karina Onofre, a Democrat, has taken the lead with 46,073 votes (42.4%) of the votes vs. 42,311 votes (38.9%) -beating the incumbent by almost 4,000 votes! It is unprecedented. A miracle!
It is clear that there’s a lot of disappointed voters with the way the incumbent has been inefficient in Sacramento, ostracized himself and our district by being able to pass absolutely nothing. He could not even pass a Mother’s Day Resolution when he tried. He has two DUI’s and his radical extremist behavior of not being able to get along with anyone including members of his own party in Sacramento is hurting our district. Of all 80 districts, district 74 is one of the most educated and affluent districts in California and it deserves to be represented better. Continue reading

Karina Onofre for CA State Assembly 74th District 2016
A miracle is happening in California’s 74th Assembly District. In its history, we have never had a Democrat win the majority of votes in any election. But a huge shift is happening and Karina Onofre, a Democrat, has taken the lead with 35,672 votes or 42.1% of the votes vs. 38.1% -beating the incumbent by almost 3,000 votes! It is unprecedented.
Clearly, there’s a lot of disappointed voters with the way the incumbent has ostricized himself and our district in Sacramento. It is also indicative of the fact that one of our reddest Californian districts in the heart of Orange County is becoming blue. Continue reading
Trump may help defeat many O.C. Republican candidates this November
Orange County is not the Republican bastion it used to be. Consider that in this week’s 2016 Primary Election the Democratic Presidential nominees, Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders, together netted over 130K votes while the GOP nominee, Donald Trump, only totaled 151K votes.
But the news gets worse for the OC GOP. Look at how poorly the Orange County Republican candidates for legislative offices did on June 7: Continue reading
