On Tuesday, the Board also approved a plan to improve the County’s Human Resources (HR) department, reducing costs by approximately $1.5 million in the process. Over the next year and a half, HR employees will transfer to a new, centralized Human Resource Services (HRS.) The plan results from months of analysis, including interviews with County staff, comparisons with county HR departments statewide and reviewing workloads. Continue reading
