Fountain Valley Police and the FBI have apprehended a Long Beach meth head and jailed him for robbery of a Citi Bank branch near Brookhurst and Slater Friday last.
The parolee “had recently been released from prison”, so of course we’re wondering if Mclaughlin had been an early discharge via Moonbeam Brown’s recent prison realignment scheme: CA CRIME SKYROCKETS IN WAKE OF BROWN’S PRISON RELEASE PLAN.
On Friday April 19, 2013 at 4:49 p.m. the Fountain Valley Police Department responded to a call of a robbery at the CITI Bank located at 17400 Brookhurst Street. A suspect had entered the bank and handed the bank teller a note demanding money. After receiving cash from the teller, the suspect fled from the bank and was last seen running south through the parking lot. Continue reading
