REAL ESTATE AGENT CHARGED WITH TAKING DOWN BALLOT PROPOSITION SIGNS AND THREATENING MAN WITH KNIFE
SANTA ANA – A real estate agent was arrested yesterday for illegally taking down ballot proposition signs and threatening a man with a knife. Victor Chevalier Perrin, 50, Buena Park, is charged with one felony count of dissuading a witness by force or threat, one felony count of brandishing a deadly weapon, one misdemeanor count of petty theft, one misdemeanor count of receiving stolen property, and a sentencing enhancement for the personal use of a deadly weapon. If convicted, he faces a maximum sentence of five years in state prison. He is out of custody $30,000 bail and is scheduled to be arraigned at a later date.
At the time of the crime, the defendant was a licensed real estate agent in the State of California. Continue reading
