IRVINE, CA–(Marketwired – Jun 4, 2014) – UCI 2014 (http://uci2014.org) has announced a planned and peaceful UCI 2014 Commencement protest to help voice concerns over the droning of American and foreign citizens. The protest will be peacefully held inside of the UCI 2014 Commencement on June 14th, 2014, at Anaheim Stadium.
U.S. President Barrack Obama is set to be a guest speaker at this event, and the organization wishes to use their constitutional right to the freedom of speech to voice their concerns over the increased prosecution of whistleblowers, the unethical and illegal use of drones in non-war zones, and in protest of the controversial National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), a federal law that codifies the indefinite military detention of U.S. citizens without charge or trial.
