Sheriff Hutchens admits to feeling fatigued as she battles cancer

Sheriff Sandra Hutchens feels tired most evenings as she continues to battle breast cancer, according to the Fountain Valley Patch. She says she has cut back from working 12-hour days to 8 to 9 hour days.

“The hard thing for me is fatigue, it’s hard to describe it,” said Hutchens, “it’s like coming down with flu, you are achy and tired. Your mind is ready to go, but your body isn’t following.” Continue reading→

Orange County Sheriff-Coroner Sandra Hutchens told reporters, when she revealed this past November that she is battling breast cancer, that she would continue to be fully engaged in the leadership of the department and that she intends to seek reelection in 2014, according to PublicCEO.
