The Future of OC Supervisor Andrew Do

It has been over 4 months since the date Orange County supervisor Michelle Steel, a close friend and ally of Supervisor Andrew Do on the OC Board of Supervisors, unexpectedly awarded a certificate honoring the Consulate General of the Vietnamese communist government at a formal ceremony in South Coast Plaza, Costa Mesa on June 4th, 2016.
Despite the heavy protests by several Vietnamese-American groups in the local community, there is still no word of comment from Supervisor Do’s office on this issue. What has prevented Andrew Do from publicly protesting the unfriendly act of a fellow board member who directly insulted his community by honoring an officer of the barbarian government in Vietnam? It should be noted that Do’s office had written numerous letters to President Obama and the State Department on behalf of the Vietnamese community publicly condemning and requesting sanction against the Vietnamese communist government.
