Last week I wrote: “Word on the street is that there may be a third not-so-dark-horse candidate to jump into the race for Perk’s seat. All I will say about this surprise candidate now is that he already has racked up a lot of experience in government service and knows how to campaign.”
Well it’s a secret no longer. OC Supervisor Shawn Nelson has formally entered the race for for retiring Judge Steven Perk’s seat #40. The Supervisor seems ready to challenge the vaunted “Deputy District Attorney” ballot designation of his primary opponent, prosecutor Larry Yellin. Continue reading
