Loretta Sanchez was a member of the U.S. House, representing California’s 46th Congressional District from 1997 to 2017, when she unwisely walked away from her seat to run for the U.S. Senate.
Sanchez got thumped by Kamala Harris in that Senate race. How galling it must be for Sanchez to now see Harris running on the Biden Presidential ticket!
Sanchez ran for the Orange County Board of Supervisors in District 3 on March 12, 2019. She lost to Don Wagner.
Now Sanchez is is running for election to the Rancho Santiago Community College District to represent District 7. She is on the ballot in the general election on November 3, 2020.
The problem however is that District 7 includes Villa Park and much of the City of Orange. There are a lot of Republican voters in that area. There is no way they will vote for Sanchez.
To make matters worse, Sanchez is running against another Democrat who is actually better qualified for the District 7 race. Her opponent is Dr. Tina Arias Miller, a candidate with a doctorate in education who works for the North Orange County Community College District.
We encourage the voters in District 7 to vote for Dr. Tina Arias Miller and finally put an end to the sad career of Loretta Sanchez.
