Today the Family Action PAC announced that its Board of Directors unanimously voted to endorse State Senator John Moorlach in his bid for Orange County Supervisor.
“John Moorlach has proven time and time again that he is a true conservative,” said Family Action PAC President Kim Bengard. “Moorlach is a man of faith, principle and courage — exactly the kind of person we need right now on the Board of Supervisors.”
There will be a special election for Supervisor in the 2nd District (West Orange County) due to the election of current Supervisor Michelle Steel to Congress.
Because of the rules that govern special elections, there is no run-off, so the top vote-getter in the special election will serve out the remaining two years of Supervisor Steel’s term.
“If too many conservatives are running in this special election, it is very possible, if not probable, that the top vote-getter, and next supervisor will be a liberal,” said Bengard. “Right now, we urge all conservatives to unify behind Moorlach’s candidacy to ensure that we keep this seat in conservative hands.“
