Registrar of Voters Launches Election Day Observer Training for November 8th
Official election observation training will provide any member of the public with important rules and regulations
SANTA ANA, CA – October 25, 2016 – The Registrar of Voters is offering free training for any member of the public, or group, that wishes to observe the election process in a polling place on Election Day.
California election law governs the conduct of elections, which includes the rules surrounding the public observation process. The training, which is being offered on three different days, includes important information that will cover the following topics:
• General observer guidelines
• What are observers allowed to do?
• What are observers responsible for?
• What are observers NOT allowed to do?
• What election activities can be observed?
WHEN: There are three options – Monday, October 31, 2016 6:00 p.m., or November 2, 2016 9:30 a.m., or November 3, 2016 1:30 p.m.
WHERE: 1300 South Grand Avenue , Bldg. C Santa Ana, corner of Grand Avenue and McFadden
