Orange County Republican Party Endorses Moorlach for Re-Election
OC GOP Takes United Stand For Moorlach
(Irvine, CA) – Last night, the Orange County Republican Party officially endorsed Senator Moorlach in his bid for re-election to the California State Senate. By a vote of 48 to 7, the Party gave its backing to the Senator, which includes access to valuable election resources in order to help provide an insurmountable effort for Moorlach’s election.
“We are strongly united behind Senator Moorlach.” said OC GOP Chairman Fred Whitaker. “The Republican Party of Orange County will diligently work for his re-election, as well as all of our incumbents.”
“John Moorlach isn’t in good standing with the Party, he is in great standing,” added former Assemblyman and Party Chairman Scott Baugh.
The OC GOP joins Orange County Taxpayers Association TaxPac, the Orange County Lincoln Club, and all-but-one of the Orange County Republican State Assembly Delegation (Assembly Members Travis Allen, Bill Brough, Ling Ling Chang, Matthew Harper, Young Kim) in supporting Senator Moorlach for re-election.
Since being elected to the Senate in a March 2015 Special Election, Senator Moorlach has quickly earned a reputation in Sacramento of being a budget watchdog and fiscal expert. In just his first year, he has worked to stop tax increases and introduced reform policies that have been implemented and are succeeding in other states in the nation.
