One of the Highest Ranking Democrats in Congress Sides With Lou Correa in CA-46
SANTA ANA, CA— Marking one of his biggest and most influential endorsements yet in the race for California’s 46th Congressional District seat, today former State Senator Lou Correa picked up the sought-after support of Congressman and House Democratic Caucus Chair Xavier Becerra.
First elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 1992, Congressman Xavier Becerra serves as Chair of the House Democratic Caucus, is a member of the powerful Committee on Ways And Means and is Ranking Member of the Ways and Means Subcommittee on Social Security. The first Latino to serve on the Ways and Means Committee, Rep. Becerra is also a member of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus (CHC). He’s built up an extensive resume of accomplishments, creating positive change and improving the lives of those he represents. I know he’ll make an excellent Representative for California’s 46th District. I’m pleased to endorse Lou Correa for Congress.”
