CalOptima Seeking Advisory Committee Candidates

CalOptima provides publicly funded health care coverage for low-income children, adults, seniors and people with disabilities in Orange County. Orange County’s operated health system is currently seeking candidates who are interested in serving on its Provider Advisory Committee (PAC). The PAC is composed of 15 members representing diverse provider constituencies, advising the CalOptima Board of Directors and staff on issues regarding CalOptima programs. Select seats represent health plans, hospitals, physicians, nurses, allied health professionals, long-term care services and community health centers.
Service on the committee is voluntary, and there is no salary. The following three-year seat is available:
Behavioral/Mental Health Representative
The committee encourages interested individuals with knowledge and support of Medi-Cal and Medicare programs to apply by Friday, October 9, 2015. Applications and nomination process information are at www.caloptima.org in the “About Us” section under “Board and Advisory Committees.”
