Assemblyman Travis Allen Honors Cynthia Perazzo as the 2015 Woman of the Year for the 72nd Assembly District
Ms. Perazzo received the award during a special Assembly ceremony at the State Capitol
SACRAMENTO – Assemblyman Travis Allen (R-Huntington Beach) honored Cynthia Perazzo as the 2015 Woman of the Year for the 72nd Assembly District during a special Assembly ceremony at the State Capitol today. Ms. Perazzo serves as Senior Vice President (SVP) of Strategy and Business Development at Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian.
“I am pleased to recognize such a talented individual who has dedicated her life to providing top quality care to our local community,” said Assemblyman Travis Allen. “Ms. Perazzo’s demonstrated commitment to the residents of Orange County and particularly the 72nd District makes her a clear choice for the 2015 Woman of the Year Award.”
As SVP of Strategy and Business Development at Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian, Ms. Perazzo oversees all strategic business development pertaining to the hospital. She plays a key role in identifying and executing strategic investments that contribute to making Hoag Hospital Orange County’s ‘most preferred hospital’ by its residents. Prior to joining Hoag Hospital, Ms. Perazzo served as the Vice President of Corporate Development for Premier, Inc. where her responsibilities included forming strategies for driving business development. She also serves on the Board of Trustees for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society Pacific South Coast Chapter.

The annual Woman of the Year ceremony celebrates California’s remarkable women. The tradition started in 1987 to help commemorate Women’s History Month and has become an annual Capitol event to salute community service. During a special ceremony in the Assembly chambers, honorees are presented with a framed resolution from the State Assembly recognizing their contributions.
Assemblyman Allen represents the 72nd Assembly District that includes the communities of Los Alamitos, Rossmoor, Seal Beach, Los Alamitos Joint Forces Training Base, Seal Beach Naval Weapons Station, Sunset Beach, Huntington Beach, Westminster, Midway City, Fountain Valley, and Garden Grove.
