Here we go again. Our blogger Aaron Park, who is heavily involved with the California Republican Assembly (CRA) went after two good Orange County conservatives last year (Anna Bryson and Greg Raths).
Now there are signs that Park is going to try to trash former O.C. Supervisor John Moorlach, who is running against Don Wagner for the 37th State Senate District. Park already wrote one post about the race yesterday – and he purposefully misspelled Moorlach’s name in the process, which I corrected.
It is one thing to point out differences in policy but what Park did to both Bryson and Raths amounted to pure character assasination. Doing that to Moorlach however will place Park and the CRA in very hot water.
Moorlach is a hero in Orange County. He predicted our County bankruptcy and worked very hard as our eventual County Treasurer-Tax Collector to clean up the mess he inherited. He has been a fine Supervisor and while I have not always agreed with him I do respect him and value his contributions to our County.
Wagner is supported by the dreadful lobbyist Curt Pringle. For me that is a no-go! Pringle spends all his time cooking up schemes to rip off Orange County taxpayers. His latest joke on us is the ARTIC train station in Anaheim – an empty shell that we didn’t need but cost millions to build. If Pringle likes Wagner then we should run in the other direction!
If Park wants to go after Moorlach then he better keep it clean or his name is going to be mud in Orange County. And the same end will await the CRA.
