SOLORIO FOR SENATE CAMPAIGN KICKS OFF EARLY WITH RADIO ADS HIGHLIGHTING OPPONENT’S SPENDING HABITS
Two Different Radio Commercials Discuss Supervisor Janet Nguyen’s Use Of Taxpayer Dollars To Benefit Her Office and Inner Circle
SANTA ANA – The Solorio for State Senate Campaign kicked off their fall election effort this week with two different campaign commercials that are running in heavy rotation on local radio criticizing opponent Janet Nguyen for using her Orange County Supervisor county office budget to benefit herself and inner circle.
The radio commercials point out that Orange County Supervisor Janet Nguyen:
- Spent $96,856 of taxpayers’ dollars for fancy new office furniture during the recession (www.ocregister.com/articles/office-75375-county-moorlach.html);
- Pays her sister $73,700 a year from her Supervisor office account for working only 22 hours a week in the county office (www.ocregister.com/articles/nguyen-505918-lecong-office.html);
- Paid her husband’s business partner a salary from her Supervisor office account (http://www.voiceofoc.org/countywide/county_government/article_2ce6155e-793e-11e3-a067-0019bb2963f4.html?TNNoMobile); and,
- Paid her highest ranking County aide a total of $105,000 a year for working an average of only 13 hours a week in the county office (www.ocregister.com/articles/nguyen-505918-lecong-office.html).

Yes but she is Asian so she can’t lose. I know the Asian people want a say as to who represents them but that doesn’t mean they should vote based ONLY on race.
Asians don’t always vote Asian. This Asian knows that Janet cannot be trusted, and that her appointee to CalOptima, Phil Tsunoda in Aliso Viejo can’t be trusted. Voters need to break this cycle and take out the garbage this election year. NO TO NGUYEN! NO TO TSUNODA!
I hope so, but the way she fast tracked to Supervisor from a Garden Grove council member I can’t help but wonder.
