ORANGE COUNTY – This weekend, 2nd District Supervisor John Moorlach announced his endorsement of Robert Ming for the 5th District Supervisor office being vacated by Pat Bates. He joins 4th District Supervisor Shawn Nelson and the Orange County Register in endorsing Robert Ming for Supervisor.
“I have served with Robert Ming on the Orange County Vector Control Board and know him as a sharp and dedicated legal mind,” said Moorlach. The endorsement reinforces the conclusion of the Orange County Register which opined that Ming has “demonstrated a solid commitment to tackling difficult issues, such as pension reform, which would serve him well on the Board of Supervisors.”
Moorlach joins a long list of Ming endorsements, including the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association, Congressman Dana Rohrabacher, Senate Republican Leader Bob Huff, and more Mayors, City Council Members, business leaders, and community members than any other Fifth District candidate.
“John Moorlach has been one of the leading financial minds in Orange County since before the county bankruptcy in 1994,” said Ming. “We share a commitment to fiscally responsible government that lives within its means. I’m honored to have his support.”
Robert Ming was born and raised in Orange County. He and his wife Susie have been married for 21 years and have four children.
