In politics you live by the sword and at times you die by the sword. Those backing Phillip Chen, a Republican candidate for the 55th Assembly District, which includes part of north Orange County, have been attacking one of his opponent’s Ling Ling Chang, for weeks on the premise that she somehow lied about her education. But now we know that Chen did something far worse.
In 2011, when Phillip Chen ran for the Walnut Valley Unified school board he listed his occupation as “Los Angeles County Deputy Sheriff.” The problem is Chen was a full-time Los Angeles County employee at the time he made his false claims – not a full-time cop, according to the OC Political blog.
Oh my. It turns out that Chen works in health care for the County of Los Angeles. Chang on the other hand is a business owner. I must say that I would rather support a business owner than a government worker!
And for Chen to pretend to be a cop when he is in fact a volunteer part-time reserve deputy sheriff is completely unacceptable!
Apparently Chen also lied about a job at CSUF, and more. Click here to read about the whole mess.
Liars don’t deserve to serve in our State Legislature – which is already crawling with disgusting unethical Democrats.
