Association for Los Angeles Deputy Sheriffs Endorses Phillip Chen for Assembly
DIAMOND BAR, CA – Today, the Association for Los Angeles Deputy Sheriffs (ALADS) endorsed Republican Phillip Chen for State Assembly. ALADS represents more than 8,000 sworn law enforcement officers and is the largest association of deputy sheriffs and district attorney investigators in the United States.
The only candidate in the 55th Assembly District with a law enforcement background, Phillip Chen’s support from law enforcement continues to grow. “I am honored to receive the endorsement of ALADS and am proud of my strong relationship with the law enforcement community. As a Reserve Sheriff’s Deputy, I understand the many challenges facing our state and communities due to AB109 and look forward to working with our law enforcement community to ensure they have the resources necessary to keep our neighborhoods safe,” stated Chen.
The clear front runner in the 55th Assembly District race, Phillip Chen has been the choice of public safety and law endorcement. Recently Phillip has been endorsed by Orange County Sheriff Sandra Hutchens, District Attorney Tony Rackauckas, as well as former District Attorneys Steve Cooley and Robert Philibosian. The 55th Assembly District is split between Los Angeles, Orange and San Bernardino counties.
