California Charter Schools Association Advocates Endorses Anna Bryson for Assembly
“Her commitment to public school choice and parental empowerment is second to none”
(Laguna Niguel, CA) – Anna Bryson, a respected education reformer with a successful background in small business, today announced the endorsement of the California Charter Schools Association (CCSA) Advocates.
“Anna has served exceptionally as a trustee on the Capistrano Unified School District for nearly a decade–advocating for quality, charter public schools and helping earn the distinction of highest-performing large district in the state during her tenure. Her commitment to public school choice and parental empowerment is second to none in her bid to represent the families of Assembly District 73, and we look forward to partnering with Anna in the Legislature to strengthen California’s public schools and ensure every kid has access to a world class education,” said Gary Borden, the Executive Director of CCSA Advocates.
Representing over 1,300 charter schools (the largest concentration of charters in the nation) and more than 484,000 charter students, The California Charter Schools Association advances the charter school movement through state and local advocacy, leadership on accountability, and resources for member schools. CCSA empowers parents and educators to unleash a new era of innovation within public education so that highly autonomous and accountable schools of choice provide quality-learning opportunities for all California students.
As a trustee on the Capistrano Unified School District, Bryson has been one of California’s leading education reformers, helping to balance the district’s budget while increasing educational excellence. To protect taxpayers, she recently voted to save Mission Viejo, Aliso Viejo, and Talega residents $59 million in taxes.
Bryson owns IEnterprise Technologies, which provided car dealers with management consulting and specialized technology for bottom-line improvements, and provided local businesses with government and media-relations advice.
She is running for the seat currently held by Assemblywoman Diane Harkey, who is not seeking reelection because of term limits.
