Ward Connerly is Supporting Anna Bryson
Momentum for Anna Bryson’s campaign for State Assembly keeps building with former UC Regent and affirmative action reformer Ward Connerly announcing his support for Anna.
“Anna is a fighter for the things that are important to California families and there is no doubt in my mind that she will make a big impact in Sacramento. Republicans may be in the minority in the State Assembly, but that doesn’t mean we can’t make things happen and I know Anna will make things happen,” said Connerly.
Ward Connerly is the founder and president of the American Civil Rights Institute and a former member of the University of California Board of Regents.
“Ward Connerly has been one of the most courageous voices in California politics in the last 20 years. He’s been unafraid to stand up to powerful defenders of the status quo and the impact of his voice has left a lasting imprint on the state,” said Bryson.
Bryson was elected to the Capistrano Unified School District Board of Trustees in 2006 and has built a reputation as a dogged reformer for the state’s 10th largest school district. Her efforts have earned her the endorsement of former U.S. Secretary of State George Schultz, Assemblyman Don Wagner, Republican National Committeeman Shawn Steel, and former California Education Secretary Marian Bergeson.
