Assemblyman Travis Allen Joins the Committee on Insurance
Assemblyman Allen brings 17 years of industry experience to address insurance issues in California
SACRAMENTO –Today, Assemblyman Travis Allen (R- Huntington Beach) was announced as the most recent addition to the Assembly Committee on Insurance. The committee’s primary jurisdictions include insurance (excluding health insurance), workers compensation, and unemployment compensation.
“I look forward to bringing my real-world experience and understanding of these issues to the discussions in Sacramento,” said Assemblyman Allen. “My in-depth knowledge and hands-on involvement for the past 17 years in the industry will allow me to work with my colleagues to develop policies that will benefit all Californians.”
Assemblyman Allen started as a financial advisor nearly two decades ago and has since built a successful small business in Orange County. During this time he has advised his clients on the many aspects of their insurance needs while helping them reach their financial goals through sound investment planning.
Currently, there are thirteen members of the Insurance Committee: Assembly Members Perea (Chairman), Hagman (Vice Chair), Allen, Bradford, Calderon, Cooley, Frazier, Gaines, Gonzalez, Mitchell, Nestande, Wieckowski.
