ANAHEIM, CA — Anaheim City Council candidate Lucille Kring is honored to announce her endorsement by Anaheim Mayor Tom Tait. She looks forward to serving alongside Mayor Tait and addressing Anaheim’s issues in the spirit of “fiscal responsibility, freedom and kindness.”
Lucille, a 23-year Anaheim resident, served on the city council for 8 years until 2010 fighting for more police, responsible growth, preserving open spaces, creating more parks, and never increasing taxes. She serves on the boards of Anaheim Beautiful, Anaheim Regional Medical Center, Canyon Hills Community Council, Cops 4 Kids, and the YMCA, and is the past president of Rotary and an Anaheim Chamber of Commerce board member.
Mayor Tait says, “I feel that Lucille, with her great knowledge of the history and workings of Anaheim, will be an independent and caring voice for the people of this great city. I know she’ll work hard to do what needs to be done to move this city forward and bring its people together.”
Anaheim residents feel current Councilmembers are taking the city in the wrong direction. They are all also deeply concerned about the events of last summer. Anaheim needs a calming, unifying, experienced, independent councilwoman like Lucille, focused on solving these problems.
