Liberal Democrat Julio Perez has already accepted the maximum campaign contributions from the SEIU (the Service Employees Union), for his 69th Assembly District campaign. And he touted their endorsement on his website. But the SEIU also appear to be allowing him to use their office space for his campaign office. That is called an in-kind contribution. Perez appears to be violating campaign finance laws by accepting the maximum cash contributions from the SEIU and free rent. That free rent could be worth thousands of dollars.
Click here to see the SEIU’s address in Santa Ana, on their website. You will find that it is 1651 E. 4th St. Santa Ana, CA.
Well, check out the Perez campaign address that the Liberal OC posted in one of their articles:

O.C. Register reporter Andrew Galvin had the time to go find out what toothpaste Perez uses and what soda he drinks. Maybe he can do some real reporting and look into this as well.
By the way, if you want to go check out the house in Santa Ana that Perez claims to live in, even though none of his neighbors know who he is and a process server who was trying to give him court documents regarding a lawsuit over some $9,000 in credit card debt that Perez owes, click here to check out the BBQ fundraiser that Perez is hosting today at 3 pm. Maybe Galvin will be there to find out what kind of BBQ meat Perez likes. The address is 1721 N. Baker St. Santa Ana. If you do go, be sure to ask Perez if his driver’s license shows that address, or if he has a utility bill that shows that address.
