Assemblywoman Young Kim’s Bill to Help Small Businesses Passes State Assembly
SACRAMENTO – AB 419, authored by Assemblywoman Young Kim (R-Fullerton), passed the State Assembly today with a vote of 72-0. This legislation requires the Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development (GO-Biz) to post the state rulemaking process on its website, helping small businesses navigate the thousands of administrative rulings and regulations.
“Small business is the backbone of our economy,” said Kim. “Small business owners often can’t afford to hire costly attorneys to make sure they’re in compliance with the state’s burdensome regulations.
