Voter registration deadline is on Monday, May 19, 2014

SANTA ANA, CA – May 16, 2014 – The deadline to register to vote in the June 3, 2014 Statewide Primary Election is Monday, May 19, 2014. Online voter registration is available, which allows new voters to complete the entire process online at ocvote.com/registration. Paper registration forms can be obtained at the Registrar of Voters, post offices, libraries and city halls.

“We have seen increased activity in new registrations during the last week,” said Neal Kelley, Registrar of Voters. “We want to ensure that everyone that wishes to participate is given the opportunity to do so,” he continued. Continue reading→

Orange County Registrar of Voters Releases Customer Service Results for Cypress Special Election

Comparative Data Now Available for Seven Major Elections

SANTA ANA, CA – October 25, 2013 – The Registrar of Voters released results today of eight customer service surveys taken during the City of Cypress Special Municipal Election held on June 25, 2013.

During the City of Cypress Special Municipal Election extensive surveys were used to gather data on eight levels of service provided by the Registrar of Voters. Written and telephone surveys were distributed to various participants and stakeholders. Overall, the results of this survey reflected extremely well on the operations and service provided. In planning for the modernization of the County’s voting system, the ROV is seeking your input to assess current and future needs of voters. New Online Legislation Tracker launched by the O.C. Voter Registrar

The Orange County Voter Registrar has launched a new “Online Legislation Tracker” that brings all state and federal election bills into one location, with detailed summaries, real-time updates, election organization positions, full text, social media capabilities, and more.

You can search state and federal bills by category, author, bill number or keyword searches. You’ll see a summary of the bill, author and status, or you can expand the display to see full details. Voter Registration Deadline and Popular Drive-Thru Services Return

SANTA ANA, CA (October 21, 2012) – The deadline to register to vote in the November 6, 2012 Presidential Election is Monday, October 22, 2012. In an effort to provide greater flexibility for citizens to participate in the election, the Orange County Registrar of Voters will remain open until midnight on the 22nd to provide drive-thru voting and registration.
