SB 1046 Would Require Ignition Interlocks for All Offenders
SACRAMENTO (March 29, 2016) — Today, the California Senate Public Safety Committee voted 7-0 in favor of SB 1046 by Senator Jerry Hill.
SB 1046 would require ignition interlocks for all drunk driving offenders in California. Currently, ignition interlocks are required only in four counties as part of a pilot program: Alameda, Los Angeles, Tulare and Sacramento. Continue reading
