Walters is not even trying to defend her record as a member of the House of Representatives because, quite frankly, it is indefensible. Walters’ voting record in Congress has been utterly deplorable. Click here to see just how bad it has been! Continue reading
It looks like U.S. Rep. Mimi Walters won’t get to sail to reelection in 2016 without a fight. Mission Viejo Councilman Greg Raths has pulled papers to challenge Walters again, in the 45th Congressional District, according to OC Political.
Raths ran against Walters in 2014 but he was later elected to the Mission Viejo City Council. Now he has a title and can raise a lot more money than he did in 2014. Continue reading
Breaking news. With the summer break in Mission Viejo politics I thought we could have a incident free summer. This latest news would be a first. Mission Viejo Councilman Greg Raths wants to demote Mission Viejo Mayor Cathy Schlicht after seconding the Motion to place her in that post last Dec. Amazing!
There are only 5 or 6 meetings left before the next mayor is selected by their peers.
This proposal reminds me of Speaker Boehner kicking FL Rep.’s Dan Webster and Richard Nugent off the Rules Committee. Continue reading

Yesterday (10/14/2014) City of Mission Viejo was caught stealing the campaign signs of candidates challenging the incumbents in the upcoming election.
According to City of Mission Viejo Public Services Supervisor Raul Villalobos and Merchants Landscape Services Inc. Area Manager Noel Manzo, Assistant City Manager Keith Ratay ordered the removal of ALL POLITICAL yard signs from City property.

Will we stop crying if we can share a laugh or two?
I don’t have many regrets. Life has been good to me. I was born in the greatest land of freedom and liberty. I married the love of my life and was blessed with three wonderful children, and now grandchildren are beginning to arrive. I’ve flown the world’s most advanced fighter jets launched from the decks of the world’s most powerful ships, and landed them successfully more than four hundred times. Sure, there are some things I wished I had done, but being a standup comic wasn’t one of them, until now. I doubt if I’ll become another Andrew Klavan overnight.
As I’ve walked the precincts of California’s 45th Congressional District and talked to my neighbors about the issues of the day, I’ve sometimes wished that I could replace their anger and their frustration with a smile if not a laugh. These really are the times that try men’s souls, aren’t they? Continue reading
