Assemblyman Jose Solorio is apparently working overtime to promote State Senator Alan Lowenthal, the Democratic Party’s nominee in the 47th Congressional District, which includes Little Saigon.
Solorio is termed out this year. He worked hard in the June primary to elect Tom Daly, who is the Democratic Party’s nominee in the 69th Assembly District. Solorio did very little to help the only moderate Hispanic candidate, Santa Ana Council Member Michele Martinez. She ended up doing poorly, coming in fourth place, behind Daly, Republican nominee Jose Moreno, and union hack Julio Perez.
