Kamala Harris leads Loretta Sanchez, 47%-22%, with 26% of respondents saying they would not take part in the election. Harris led among almost all voter groups except for Latinos, who went for Sanchez, 45%-30%, according to a USC Dornsife/Los Angeles Times poll that was conducted in June of this year. It does not look good at all for Sanchez, who is giving up a safe seat in the U.S. House of Representatives.
It is worth noting that 26% of the voters who were polled indicated they would not vote for either Harris or Sanchez. They are both Democrats so it is likely that conservative voters are sitting this one out – and possibly quite a few independent voters as well. Continue reading
