Friday April 24th Marks the 100-Year Anniversary of the Armenian Genocide
LOS ANGELES, CA (April 24, 2015): In 2008, current President Barack Obama, electrified us with hope when he said, “America deserves a leader who speaks truthfully about the Armenian Genocide. I intend to be that President.” Friday, April 24th, marks the 100-year Anniversary of the Armenian Genocide in which Turkey committed a deliberate systematic act of murder, massacre and attempted the eradication of the entire Armenian race, and it’s time to recognize that this was indeed a Genocide. To pay homage to those that were affected by these tragic events, Ardashes Fine Art has taken out a full-page advertisement in the LA Times that will run this Friday in an effort to have this 100-Year Anniversary recognized.
As you will read in the LA Times this Friday, the overwhelming majority of historians as well as the academic institutions on Holocaust and Genocide Studies recognize the Armenian Genocide.
