Ezequiel Barragan, the Dana Hills High School Spanish teacher accused of having sex with a 13-year-old boy he met while serving as a courtroom advocate for the child, was elected in January a Democrat delegate for 2015-16 from the 73rd Assembly District covering Rancho Santa Margarita, Mission Viejo, Laguna Hills, Aliso Viejo, Laguna Hills and Dana Point, according to the O.C. Weekly.

Quirk-Silva is regarded as one of the most liberal members of the legislature and that’s saying something! She’s also a strong ally and friend to liberal Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez! Silva’s 2012 defeat of Chris Norby helped the Dems gain the two-thirds so-called Supermajority status in the Assembly!
