Naz Namazi, the Realtor and Filmmaker (and former campaign staffer for U.S. Rep. Dana Rohrabacher) who is running for the 37th State Senate District, has launched a campaign website, although she still doesn’t have a Facebook Campaign Page. Namazi rips both of her male opponents, Don Wagner and John Moorlach, on her website. She says that if “Wagner wins, he will be a Union funded Republican Senator from a “safe” seat, which spells disastrous consequences for the rest of us. Economically, it will lend itself to more taxes and fees, and politically, it will mean that yet another Republican is willing to disenfranchise us in favor of the Unions.” Continue reading→

Another Major GOP Endorsement:
Congressman Tom McClintock Announces Support for John Moorlach for Senate
“Moorlach has the right answers to California’s budget woes.”
(Orange County, CA) – Today Congressman Tom McClintock announced his full support for John Moorlach in the open 37th Senate District special election, adding yet another strong endorsement on the heels of Moorlach winning the California Republican Assembly’s support last Saturday.
Both Congressman Tom McClintock and the California Republican Assembly consistently poll among GOP voters as among the most trusted sources for election information and recommendations. Continue reading→
I was wondering why in the world our blogger Aaron Park would be attacking a good conservative like John Moorlach – and how Park could possibly stomach endorsing the RINO Don Wagner – who is the choice of Curt Pringle and Matt Cunningham.
A friend of Park’s called me last week and told me the sordid tale. Park apparently is mad at Moorlach because Moorlach did not re-appoint a friend of his to a County Commission.
Imagine that. Park’s silly jihad against Moorlach is a petty, selfish one. Continue reading→
ORANGE COUNTY, Calif., Feb. 9, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — A significant group of Lincoln Club officers, board members, and past presidents have endorsed John Moorlach in his bid for the state senate seat left vacant by Mimi Walters election to the United States Congress. The group of men are acting independently in their endorsement, believing Supervisor Moorlach to be just the exceptional candidate for whom special endorsements are needed.
“In John Moorlach you have a 20-year track record of defending efficient government, fiscal responsibility, and civic leadership. He has served in two major offices under one guiding light – principles of integrity and service,” says past Lincoln Club president and current member of their Board of Counselors, Michael Capaldi. As many of you know, there is a very important special election coming up to the fill the vacancy in the 37th State Senate district. The 37th SD, which covers a third of the county and is one of Southern California’s largest State Senate districts, stretches as far north as south Huntington Beach and covers most of south central O.C.
The special election to fill this vacancy will be held on March 17th. If no candidate receives a majority of the votes, there will be a run-off election on May 19th! Three GOP candidates have officially launched their campaigns: Assemblyman Donald P. Wagner, former campaign adviser and current Mission Viejo Realtor Naz Namazi, and former O.C. Supervisor/County Treasurer John Moorlach. By this Spring, only one will have the privilege of serving the good people of the 37th in Sacramento’s upper chamber. Continue reading→
