Extension of Candidate Filing Period for the Statewide Primary Election
When incumbents do not file for re-election the filing period is extended
SANTA ANA, CA – March 9, 2018 – The Registrar of Voters announced today that the nomination period has been extended until March 14, 2018, 5:00 p.m. for the offices listed below because the incumbent failed to file Nomination Papers by the March 9, 2018 deadline.
Any qualified person, other than the incumbent, can now file the Nomination Papers until March 14, 2018, 5:00 p.m., in the office of the Registrar of Voters, 1300 South Grand Avenue, Building C, Santa Ana, California.
Business hours are: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
