Tyler Diep Hits Critical Milestone: Surpasses $350k Cash on Hand
Diep’s Momentum Continues to Grow as Endorsements & Donations Flood In
(Orange County, CA) – Councilman Tyler Diep announced that his campaign for Assembly has hit the critical milestone of surpassing $350,000 cash on hand.
Since launching his campaign in July, Diep has seen consistent momentum for his candidacy. He has picked up the support of current 72nd district Assemblyman Travis Allen, the Lincoln Club of Orange County, and Orange County’s top law enforcement officials, Sheriff Hutchens and DA Rackauckas. Nearly a dozen other state and local elected officials have also thrown their support behind Diep. Diep’s hard work and commitment has translated into successful financial support. As of the end of September, Diep has amassed $354,000 for his Assembly race. The amount does not include any personal loans or other outstanding debt.
“I am honored to have the support of so many community and business leaders who know that I am committed to running an aggressive campaign so that I can go to Sacramento to aggressively fight for Orange County families,” said Diep. “When I first launched my campaign I said I would work hard for every vote and we’re building the organization to do just that.”
Diep was first elected to the Westminster City Council in 2008. He has been a strong taxpayer advocate, is committed to job creation and supporting small businesses by keeping taxes low, and has prioritized hiring more police officers and road repair while on the city council. He also serves as Director of the Midway City Sanitary District and works for the State Board of Equalization where he helps small businesses navigate through the bureaucracy of the IRS and Franchise Tax Board.
The 72nd District includes all of Westminster, Garden Grove, Fountain Valley, Los Alamitos, Seal Beach, a portion of Huntington Beach and the unincorporated county island of Midway City.
