Lincoln Club of Orange County Endorses Tyler Diep for Assembly
Support from the Prominent Business Group Brings Additional Early Clout to Diep’s Campaign
(Westminster, CA) – Westminster Councilman Tyler Diep announced today that the Lincoln Club of Orange County has endorsed his campaign for State Assembly.
The announcement comes just a week after Diep launched his campaign with the immediate support of current 72nd Assemblyman Travis Allen and a strong fundraising lead of $260,000 cash on hand.
“Tyler Diep will be an effective advocate against the job killing regulations and taxes that are too often proposed in Sacramento,” said John Warner, President of the Lincoln Club of Orange County. “He has the experience and principles we need in the Assembly and we’re proud to support him.”
The Lincoln Club of Orange County has helped shape California and national politics for five decades. The group focuses on fighting to reduce the power and scope of government, pushes for lower taxes, and freedom.
“I am honored to have the strong, early support of the Lincoln Club and its members,” said Diep. “I share the club’s unwavering commitment to getting government out of the way of job creators and limiting the taxes that stunt job creation and harm our families and seniors.”
Diep was first elected to the Westminster City Council in 2008. He has been a strong taxpayer advocate, is committed to job creation and supporting small businesses by keeping taxes low, and has prioritized hiring more police officers and road repair while on the city council. He also serves as Director of the Midway City Sanitary District and works for the State Board of Equalization where he helps small businesses navigate through the bureaucracy of the IRS and Franchise Tax Board.
The 72nd District includes all of Westminster, Garden Grove, Fountain Valley, Los Alamitos, Seal Beach, a portion of Huntington Beach and the unincorporated county island of Midway City. To learn more about Diep and his campaign, please visit: www.TylerDiep.com.
