Rep. Dana Rohrabacher Announces 2016 United States Service Academy Nomination Application Process
Representative Dana Rohrabacher (R- Huntington Beach) Congressman Rohrabacher announced the opening of the 2016 Service Academy Nomination Application Process.
The United States Service Academies include the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis, the U.S. Air Force Academy at Colorado Springs, the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point, and the U.S. Coast Guard Academy at New London. All Service Academies with the exception of the U.S. Coast Guard Academy require a Congressional Nomination to be considered for appointment. The United States Service Academies accept highly qualified and well-rounded individuals for appointment. Those individuals receive a tuition-free, peerless education and may commission as a military officer upon graduation.
The deadline for nomination applications is October 31, 2016. Interested and qualified students are strongly encouraged to apply.
