Orange County Supervisor Todd Spitzer has responded to the attack against him by OCDA Tony Rackauckas, who accused Spitzer of pretending to be a Deputy District Attorney.
Here is Spitzer’s response:
Today I was attacked by the District Attorney in retaliation for a press release I issued last week revealing the Grand Jury calling out Tony Rackauckas’ “inability to follow the rules by playing political favorites.”
I also revealed last week that Rackauckas didn’t report financial donations by anonymous donors totaling $35,000 as required by law.
This weekend I made a call to voters in support of Measure A, which will create an Ethics Commission. I clearly started the call with, “Hello, this is COUNTY SUPERVISOR Todd Spitzer”.
This is nothing more than Terrible Tony knowing that the passage of Measure A is a referendum on the District Attorney’s lack of leadership.
We all know his office is operating as a “ship without a rudder” according to his own informant scandal report.
