WomanSage to Honor 12 Extraordinary Orange County Women at November 10th Family Matters Awards Program
Costa Mesa, Calif. (October 16, 2015) – WomanSage will recognize twelve remarkable community and business leaders at its annual Family Matters awards dinner on Tuesday, November 10 at the Center Club in Costa Mesa. Fifth District Supervisor Lisa Bartlett will be the evening’s keynote speaker and musical guest is longtime Newport Beach entertainer Jim Roberts.
The 2015 Family Matter honorees include Lisa Briggs, Volunteerism; Vivian Clecak, LCSW, Caregiver for Women; Nan Crofford, Volunteerism; Dr. Carol Daderian, DDS,Philanthrophy; Jennifer Friend, Leadership and Philanthropy; Jackie Jordan, Health, Housing and Welfare; Becky Lomaka, Community Education; Carol Nastasi, M.S., MFT, Elder Care Advocacy; Susan Perkins, Advocacy for Women; Kim Shepherd, Business; Katie Shreve, Child Development; and Jean Vincenzi, Education.
The Black and White themed evening will begin with a silent auction and reception from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. followed by dinner and awards program concluding at 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $50 which includes dinner and complimentary valet parking.

WomanSage is an Orange County-based nonprofit organization that supports women facing transitions and serious life challenges. Founded by the late Jane Glenn Haas in 2003, the all-member organization collaborates among its members and community-based organizations to provide both services and a source of encouragement to women in challenging life circumstances.
At the heart of WomanSage is networking and camaraderie through their monthly “Salon” with dinner and compelling guest speakers. All Salon proceeds fund their Transition Makeover and WomanSage Cares philanthropic projects.
