BREAKING NEWS: Senator Moorlach Responds to Governor’s Revised Transportation Tax Plan
(Sacramento, CA) – Today, Senator John Moorlach (R-Costa Mesa) issued the following statement regarding Governor Brown’s revised transportation tax plan:
“Californians already pay the nation’s 4th highest gas tax. And, California’s transportation spending is already three times the national average per-mile of roadway. We don’t have a revenue problem; we have an efficiency problem at Caltrans. How can we ask Californians to pay more in taxes when we haven’t first addressed the glaring waste and incompetence at Caltrans?”
