Senate Republican Leader Responds to PPIC Survey on the Environment
Proposed Legislation Would Hit California Families in the Pocketbook
SACRAMENTO – The Public Policy Institute of California (PPIC) recently issued its July 2015 survey about Californians and the Environment with the focus on global warming and drought severity.
Senate Minority Leader Bob Huff (R-San Dimas) issued the following statement in response to the study:
“This survey demonstrates what we all know; we are concerned about the environment we live in. Unfortunately, this poll fails to ask what previous PPIC surveys have asked, how do we achieve these goals and do Californians believe they can afford to pay for it,” said Senate Minority Leader Huff. “This is the problem with the bills working their way through the Legislature. They have lofty goals but are not upfront about how they will be met and at what cost to families and small businesses.”
