Loretta Sanchez files first Senate Report
Raises over One Million Dollars in Contributions
Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez filed her first fundraising report for the 2O16 US Senate campaign today with the Federal Election Commission.
In filing the report, Congresswoman Sanchez said: “We had only 45 days after my announcement as a candidate for the US Senate to raise money for this quarterly report. It was a very hectic 45 days but our campaign has demonstrated tremendous fundraising potential in this short period. Old and new friends have been very generous. The response has been terrific and demonstrates that on issues from n ational security to economic fairness, Californians are ready for a US Senator with my record of experience and effectiveness.”
The Loretta Sanchez for Senate Campaign raised $1,138,5 35.10 . The Sanchez for Senate campaign has $1,093,285.57 cash on hand and to date has spent $ 45, 249.53. Receipts to the Loretta Sanchez for Senate Committee include a transfer of $516,114 from her Congressional Campaign Account.
“We are a lean, mean fundraising machine,” said Sanchez Campaign Finance Director, Michelle Maravich.
