Senate Minority Leader Bob Huff (R-San Dimas) updates state budget negotiations in his Capitol Comment report for the week of June 8th, 2015.
Senator Huff confirms that Republicans do not have much input when it comes to crafting the new state budget that begins with the new fiscal year in July, but does list some key Republican budget principles. These include fully funding education, saving money in the state’s rainy day fund and directing surplus dollars to improving our roads, streets and highways.
Senator Huff serves as the Senate Minority Leader and represents the 29th Senate District covering portions of Los Angeles, Orange and San Bernardino Counties. Follow Senator Huff on Twitter @bobhuff99.
