“Has Been Endorsed by Dozens of Judges, Prosecutors, Attorneys & Local Officials”
Santa Ana (CA)— Orange County Deputy District Attorney Megan Wagner announced today her campaign for Orange County Superior Court Judge in the 2016 California Primary Election.
“My unique experience as both a business lawyer and felony prosecutor prepares me for the next step in service to the people of Orange County, as a Superior Court Judge,” said Wagner. “I am honored and humbled by the overwhelming support and encouragement I have received before even formally announcing my candidacy.”
Megan is currently a Deputy District Attorney in the Major Fraud Unit where she prosecutes white collar criminals engaged in real estate fraud, securities fraud and financial elder abuse. After graduating with honors from UCLA and UC Berkeley Boalt Hall School of Law, Wagner represented business owners, specializing in complex business disputes, for nearly twenty-five years before becoming a fraud prosecutor.
Megan has been awarded the prestigious Martindale Hubbell “AV” peer review rating which is the highest rating for ethics and legal ability and was named a “Top Lawyer in California for Ethical Standards and Professional Excellence” in 2013, 2014 and 2015 by the Legal Network.
Megan, and her husband of over 30 years, State Assemblyman Don Wagner, moved to Orange County in 1991, where they raised their three children.
