Lake Forest couple Sherry Walker and Adam Nick
Who in the world are Sherry Walker and Adam Nick? They are Orange County political candidates with minute social media profiles. Nick was elected to the Lake Forest City Council in 2012. He is pictured with his wife Sherry on his Facebook page. But Sherry is running for the 69th Assembly District, which includes parts of Santa Ana and Anaheim, while Nick is running for the 46th Congressional District, which includes the same areas. These are carpetbaggers – the question is who are they and what are the up to?
My sources tell me that Walker and Nick are Iranians who changed their names. Nick owns a gas station and actually sued his own city in a fit because the city granted an alcohol license to a 7-11 but Nick wanted to monopolize alcohol sales in his area. What sort of Councilman sues his own city – forcing taxpayers to waste money in the legal defense process?
If you look at Nick’s LinkedIn page you will find nothing. It is a blank entry. And have a look at his city bio. Empty as well. As for Walker she has no Facebook page. Barely anything comes up when you search for information about her. Both Walker and Nick are running for legislative seats but have no campaign websites!
And guess what? While Nick and Walker are running as Republicans their voter registration history is pathetic. Nick wasn’t even registered to vote from 2004-2008, according to the Orange County Registrar of Voters, and he wasn’t even in a U.S. county! Where the heck was this guy? From 2008 to 2011 he didn’t belong to any political party. He only became a registered Republican in 2011.
As for Walker’s voter registration history, she was registered Decline to State from 2004 to March 4, 2014. Now she is suddenly a Republican. And her only campaign contributor is her husband, Nick, according to the California Secretary of State.
These mysterious Lake Forest carpetbaggers have put adjoining campaign signs up in Santa Ana. They aren’t even trying to hide what they are doing. They are perhaps the most brazen carpetbaggers in Orange County election history.
But why have they infiltrated the Republican Party and why are they suddenly so interested in Central Orange County? Who put them up to this? Well, there are Latino Republicans running in the 69th Assembly District and in the 46th Congressional District. Popular SAUSD Trustee Cecilia Iglesias is challenging career Democratic politician Tom Daly in the 69th Assembly District and Carlos Vazquez is taking on the odious U.S. Representative Loretta Sanchez. It begs the question – did the Democrats put up Walker and Nick in order to try to prevent Latino Republicans from advancing to the November General election against elected Democrats?
If Walker and Nick, who I am told changed their names in order to fool Orange County voters, are indeed Iranians, then it is quite possible that they are being influenced by Democratic Irvine Council Members Larry Agran and Beth Krom, who have a lot of sway in the Orange County Democratic Party. Agran and Krom have a lot of support in the Orange County Iranian community.
But this is all conjecture. What we do know is that Walker and Nick have no business running for legislative seats in Santa Ana/Anaheim. Shame on them for trying to fool the voters!
You are overreacting, because you don’t know them. First, a council member suing his own city does happen from time to time, usually because the voting majority on the council gets so vicious they try to ruin a businessman’s company because he won’t play ball on his votes. In this case, it’s not quite like that. Adam Nick sued the city, because there was a controversial development project that would hurt his company and he had a legal responsibility to protect other investors in his company. He and his wife are running, because they believe in some things politically that are traditional conservative principals, but because they don’t really have the money to get a message out, they decided to both campaign for different offices, hoping there would be an echo effect. They are running for seats most people think Democrats will walk into and they are trying to put up a fight. You may like someone else better, but why criticize people who are trying to change things in their own way.
The lawsuit had to do with alcohol sales not development. The details are in the Register article we linked to.
There are already conservative candidates in the races that Nick and his wife are carpetbagging in. But they are Latinos. Do these Iranian candidates have a problem with Latinos?
And perhaps no one knows them because their bios are empty and they don’t have campaign websites?
Art, I know Adam and I just wanted to correct you on his lawsuit. He did not sue Lake Forest because he wanted to monopolize alcohol sales in his area. In fact, the area where Adam’s gas station, and where the 7-11 wanted to start selling alcohol, is saturated with businesses that sell alcohol. That is why the 7-11 needed a letter from the city to recommend selling alcohol to the ABC. In fact, when the 7-11 was built, the owners knew the area was saturated and they failed to ask for a liquor license at that time. The 7-11 owners also saved themselves a considerable amount of money by getting the ABC approval rather than buying a license on the open market. Adam opposed the 7-11’s request, which would of course impact his sales. When Lake Forest approved the letter, he sued, which was within his rights.
In other words Adam wanted to keep alcohol sales to himself. That sir is what a monopoly is.
And why should a gas station be selling alcohol in the first place? Talk about contributing to DUIs! Gas, Drink, Crash!
My mistake for trying to give you the facts and have you actually consider them. You obviously do not know what a monopoly is, or you choose to ignore it because it fits your story better. It’s a free country. And under your logic, a 7-11 should only sell liquor to someone who walks to the store, which actually supports Adam’s argument that they should not be selling alcohol.
Oh I’m sure he would love to be the only alcohol peddler in Lake Forest.
How in the world is this guy qualified to represent us in Congress?
Nick and Sherry, simply because of their business experience are more qualified for Congress than Obummer ever was for any office especially the highest in the land. And what exactly is wrong with someone of Iranian decent running for office Art? Are you racist?
Maybe they are the racists. Why did they change their real names to fake American names? Are they ashamed that they’re Iranians?
What is a “real American name” Art? Many Americans of Vietnamese and Chinese and other countries that Americans have difficulty pronouncing, change their names to names easier for Americans to pronounce. Cecilia Iglesias admits she’s not American by birth so why not call her “carpetbagger” too? Does she even have a “real” American name? Look in the mirror and see the racist. Of course you won’t post this reply.
I’ll tell you what – Nick and Walker changed their names and are hiding their bios while they carpetbag in Santa Ana even though they live in Lake Forest. None of that sounds sketchy to you? Really?
Editor needs to get the facts before he makes more uneducated responses.
What facts? We’ve already established that Walker and Nick changed their names and don’t publish their bios. What are these nuts hiding?
Your facts are incorrect. Nick sued the City before he was a Councilman, and in the process of suing the City he discovered what he thought were unfair and unacceptable practices, so he decided to expose these people/practices and run for City Council . He won with more votes than anyone else and for nearly 2 years has been fighting for transparency in government, limiting Council expenses, reducing fees, term limits, etc.
To Editor:
Simply said, what you have done is shameful. Did you ever try to Contact Mr. Nick so that you do understand what you obviously do not? You did NOT and I know that for a fact (i.e. I trust him when he says you never did contact him). This man is not shy of a saint… Just see what he’d done for Lake Forest in his short tenure on that Council. Furthermore, his phone numbers are PUBLIC records or just call the Lake Forest City Hall, and they will patch you through to him. I dare you contact him if you truly are not the degenerate, petty, lying gossip columnist you come across to be herein.
Boy you’re going to really dislike the next post we’ll be putting up tonight.

Nick was caught red-handed!!!!
Afshin Nikzad and Sherry Raghozar- or some similar spelling/alternate
This may be a larger money/power machine your writing about here. It has nothing to do with the Republican party as an ideology. In my opinion, Mr. Afshin Nikzad could just be a well taken care of cog, and get’s a little over zealous about his own tiny fiefdom at times. Ms. Raghozar seems to want part of that pie too. I believe they have they own worker-bees tooling for them here in the states, imported from Iran. My question is one, who is funding all this activity, and two, wheres the Republican oversight on them? She dyes her hail blond? It is to look more western and appealing to the voters? Something is really weird here.
Yes they are very creepy!
I worked at this his gas station. This guy thinks he knows everything. He repeats everything at least 3 times which is really annoying. He tells everyone he is a CPA, he tried to scammed Arco . He got caught and they dropped him. He scammed some guy that was going to buy his gas station from him a few years ago. He is a hairy son of bitch that shaves his legs and arms. Really weird and disgusting guy. A few of my colleagues back then were illegal immigrants working under the table. Someone should report him to IRS
